What the guide covers

Coordinate the right measurements before production

Door Leaf Size, Rough Opening and Finished Wall Thickness are different measurements. Submit them separately so the project team can review the frame, jamb depth, handing direction, hardware preparation and complete door-set scope.

Do not use “door size” as a single undefined measurement. Clearly identify Rough Opening, Frame Outer Size and Door Leaf Size.

Quality & Project Coordination Process

VISFURN can review Door Schedules, drawings and specifications; coordinate rough openings, leaf size, wall thickness, frame, jamb and architrave; confirm opening direction and hardware preparation; and provide project photos or videos before dispatch when required.

1. Review the Door Schedule, drawings and specification sheet.
2. Coordinate rough opening, leaf, finished wall thickness, frame, jamb and architrave.
3. Confirm handing, inward/outward direction and hardware preparation before machining.
4. Review a sample or mock-up before bulk production when the project requires it.
5. Confirm finish, hardware and production information before production.
6. Review dimensions, frame fit, surface appearance, finish consistency, hardware preparation and packing condition.

Final construction, dimensions, finish and hardware are confirmed against the approved Door Schedule and production confirmation.
