Luxury Residential Brief
The developer wanted the flooring to feel tailored to the identity of a premium high-rise rather than function as a generic soft finish.
Each residence needed to maintain a coherent luxury standard while also allowing some degree of unit-level individuality.
That made custom wall-to-wall carpet a better fit than a purely modular or standardized approach.
Unit-Level Identity Strategy
Decorative identity was introduced through controlled motif work and crest-related detailing that could signal exclusivity without overwhelming the interior scheme.
This allowed the carpet to reinforce the property's premium narrative while still giving each residence a subtle sense of distinction.
The project treated the floor as part of the interior brand language rather than as background material only.
Balancing Presentation and Practicality
Because these were high-end residences, visual continuity and softness of finish were prioritized over the replacement flexibility associated with tiles.
At the same time, specification choices still had to account for private-living maintenance expectations, traffic between entry and lounge zones, and long-term appearance retention.
The outcome was designed to feel refined in daily use rather than simply impressive at first installation.
Perceived Value After Handover
The finished carpet contributed to a stronger sense of crafted luxury across the project and helped the residences feel more individualized.
For the developer, this supported both market positioning and the perceived completeness of the interior package.
That perception of exclusivity was one of the main commercial goals behind the custom flooring strategy.
