Choose the lock basis clearly. Smart-lock ready means the door leaf is machined and reinforced for the selected hardware, without a lock. Smart lock included means the factory supplies, fits and tests the lock. The included option is the door-body price plus a fixed smart-lock add-on of US$48/set, subject to the selected model’s compatibility.

Overview
A door body that keeps the hardware decision explicit.
This product separates the permanent door engineering from the access technology selected for a project. That makes the quotation easier to compare and avoids treating a smart module as a replacement for a robust mechanical lock body.
The leaf is prepared around the buyer’s hardware template, including lock body mortice, cylinder bore, strike position and reinforcement points. If the lock is not yet selected, quote the door as smart-lock ready and confirm the final model before machining.
For exterior applications, the lock’s weather rating must be checked separately. A weather-rated door coating does not make an indoor fingerprint reader suitable for direct rain, coastal humidity or extreme heat.

Mechanical security
Security depends on the mechanical lock body, bolt throw, cylinder, frame and installation. The smart module should not be described as automatically increasing forced-entry resistance.

Export packing can be reviewed with protective surface wrap, reinforced corner guards, palletization and project labels. Smart lock electronics should be packed and identified separately when the approved supply basis requires it.
Container planning uses the approved quantity and size mix. The planning reference is about 118 sets in a 40HQ, but the final loading plan must follow the actual door schedule.

What does smart-lock ready include?
It includes the door leaf preparation and reinforcement for the approved hardware template, but not the smart lock. The buyer can source and install the lock separately.
Is the smart lock included in the door-body price?
No. The included option is the door-body price by opening area plus a fixed US$48/set smart-lock add-on.
Does a fingerprint lock make the door more secure?
Not automatically. Fingerprint, keypad, card and app functions address how the door is opened. Forced-entry resistance comes from the mechanical lock body, bolts, cylinder, frame and installation.
Can an existing lock model be prepared at the factory?
Yes, subject to compatibility. Send the lock model and installation template so the mortice, cylinder bore, strike and reinforcement can be reviewed before production.
Can the lock be used outside?
Only after its exterior rating is confirmed. The door’s powder-coat finish and the smart lock’s resistance to rain, heat, humidity and UV exposure are separate checks.
What should be sent for quotation?
Send door width and height, wall thickness, frame requirement, hardware or lock model, finish, quantity, destination port and whether the package should be smart-lock ready or smart lock included.
